John 8:32 “And you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.”

John 8:36 “If the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.”

John 14:6 “… I am the way, the truth, and the life:…”

How can we have true freedom, except we know where it comes from? Freedom comes with knowing Christ. If we look in the above scriptures, we’ll see that with each statement it identifies freedom and truth with Christ.

Looking at John 14:6, we know that scripture also states “the word became flesh and dwelt among us”.What do you both value? Know alignment is not solely based on likes, food preferences, or personal style.

This lets us know that Jesus is the word and if we are to know His truth for our lives, we must know Him. Except we spend time in our word, how can we? A tree cannot bear fruit unless it’s attached to the vine.

See, all you need is a word from God. When you have that, you can continue in confidence knowing that what you’ve heard is true. He reveals that which you may or may not have known. When you need clarity, seek Jesus [the word]. Before you start your day,…[the word]. When you need comfort,…[the word].

It’s the only thing that can speak to you without asking any questions to know what’s wrong.

It just speaks. When you get quiet enough to hear, it’ll open up more to you. Instead of searching in circles from outside sources for answers, just open the book right in front of you.

If you don’t have a physical version, that’s okay. However, while digital is great, with having the word at you hand, it’s a different experience. You could navigate easily and quickly when it’s right in your hands.

All in all, remember this. You lack nothing. You just have to return to or start your journey in your word.

That’s the missing piece.

When you develop your spiritual being, you’ll become more confident in the things you’re doing.

Stay blessed,
